Premier Modular is an industry-leading offsite construction firm based in East Yorkshire. They’re a hugely successful and profitable provider of temporary and permanent modular buildings across several sectors.

Although aspects of their marketing were strong, the overall programme was inconsistent in terms of their creative and messaging. They needed help to articulate and amplify why they are one of the ‘go-to’ companies in their sector.

Developing the brand tone of voice and strategy

Through a marketing audit and a series of workshops with their EXCO and sales force we:

• Identified key target audiences and their pain points in core strategic sectors

• Built value propositions and created a core bank of messages

• Tracked the customer journey and touchpoints to ensure customers had the right message at the right time.

During our contract, Premier Modular saw significant order increases in Healthcare, Residential, and Temporary Office and Welfare Accommodation for construction.

RESULTS

Outsourced Marketing Team

Following the initial strategic work, BAU marketing was outsourced to Strong Marketing and Communications. In a period of 18 months we helped Premier Modular develop their brand position, understand their customer and deliver 35 core projects as well as managing marketing provision and requests.

Projects included:

• Developing new sales materials including an interactive digital sales brochure

• Creation of a new customer benefit-led case study format used in over 30 new case studies

• Establishing a new events strategy targeted for core strategic sectors

• Enhancing the regular email campaign to reflect new brand format and deliver real-time results

• Improving the website and SEO, whilst establishing new measurements and reporting. This also the website’s health-score and reduced the technical issues by half.
