Hi, I’m Eimear and I run Strong Marketing and Communications based in South Manchester. I provide marketing help for small to medium sized businesses particularly in the construction and finance sectors. Before my 40^th birthday in 2018 I was burnt out after working full-time while raising my family with my husband. I nearly quit marketing to do something different but realised I had much to offer businesses who couldn’t commit to a permanent marketing person.

Why am I only starting to blog now?

Hands up! I’ve been in business for over 18 months and I haven’t done enough of my own marketing (I know!). I’ve been fortunate enough to benefit from recommendations, but I need to take my own marketing advice. So here is my website after almost four months of working on it at night in front of the TV. Not bad is it? I know it’s not over and there’s plenty of work to do to maintain it, but I am quite proud of it so far. I wanted to add a blog to the site as blogs are a useful part of the marketing toolkit. A blog is a cost-effective way to build your brand and give support and advice to your audience. I’d recommend blogging to clients so why wouldn’t I do it myself?
